3x author,

What began in the summer 2020 with an inspiring conversation with Professor Klaus Schwab, founder and chairman of the World Economic Forum is today, “the leading platform for pioneers of the transformation in the German-speaking world” (Open University Business School, London). Our podcast welcomes listeners in 90 countries, in English, and in German. We have created, according to Spotify, an "audience of enthusiasts.”

Der Große Neustart (The Great Reset) is a safe haven for revolutionary ideas where global leaders talk in depth about how they transform our industries, medicine, business, education, technology, and the social contract.

Find out more

The Great Reset is a term that has been used to describe various ideas and proposals for rebuilding the global economy and addressing societal challenges in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The concept was first introduced by the World Economic Forum in May 2020 as a way to reimagine the world's economic and social systems in a more sustainable and equitable way.
The Great Reset proposes to transform the world's economic and social systems, and that it is necessary to fundamentally rethink the way we live, work, and interact with one another. It aims to create a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient world by addressing issues such as climate change, social inequality, and economic instability.

How do we shift from short-term to long-term thinking, from shareholder capitalism to stakeholder accountability?

Some of the key elements include: The Green economy, the Social and Technological transformation as well as Stakeholder capitalism, a move away from traditional shareholder capitalism towards a model that takes into account the interests of all stakeholders, including employees, customers, and the environment. It is important to note that the Great Reset is not a single, unified plan or agenda, but rather a collection of ideas and proposals from various stakeholders. The WEF’s Great Reset initiative has been one of the most prominent examples of this concept, but there are many other organisations and individuals who have proposed their own visions for a more sustainable and equitable world.
